Course Refund Policy

At this time the only instances in which an individual will receive a refund is:

  • In the event of an illness, accident, or emergency, with a submitted police report/doctors note to EMP2C.

  • Should a participant choose to reschedule their course date, a $45 rescheduling fee will need to be paid in full prior to rescheduling for a new date.  This helps to ensure that all participants have access to classes as needed.

  • If the participant is unable to and/or fails to complete the online coursework, in its entirety, prior to the start of the class, the participant will not be refunded any portion of the course fee. Transferring to a future class will be allowed ONE time, any other transfers will require the payment of an additional course fee.

  • If the participant is unable to successfully complete any one of the requirements for certification, during the in-person skills session, it will be at the discretion of the instructor, and availability in future courses, whether the participant will be refunded any portion of the course fee or will be permitted to transfer to a future class without the payment of an additional course fee.

  • If the participant does not attend/is unable to attend the in-person skill session, in its entirety, the participant will not be refunded any portion of the course fee. Transferring to a future class, without payment of an additional course fee will be at the discretion of the instructor.

  • In the case of a weather-related issue, the course will be moved to an alternate location or rescheduled. If the student is unable to attend at the given location, at the given time, the participant will not be refunded any portion of the course fee. Transferring to a future class will require a $35 payment of an additional course fee.

  • Instructors reserve the right to refuse a participant to continue in a class, if the instructor does/do not believe that the student will successfully complete the class. The instructors also reserve the right to terminate any student who is causing disruption or is acting inappropriately in the course. Any of these instances (or other potentially similar instances) will not result in a refund. Transferring to a future class will require the payment of an additional course fee.

  • Update: Those experiencing signs/symptoms of COVID-19 will receive a refund. Please, do not arrive to class if you are ill! Reach out to nick@emp2c.com and virtually inform us of your inability to attend, as a result of illness. Refund dependent upon proof of COVID-19 test or doctors note, reschedule will free of charge with negative COVID result test.
